Celtic have announced some key upgrades to their turnstile technology, aimed at enhancing the matchday experience for their Season Ticket Holders.

The club has implemented these changes over the summer, in preparation for the upcoming football season.

Under the newly introduced system, Season Ticket Holders will now place their tickets above the mouth of the turnstile technology, rather than hovering them as was done previously. This slight change in the ticket scanning procedure is designed to expedite the process of entry into Celtic Park, making it a smoother, more efficient experience for supporters.

Here’s a video that explains the simple change for Season Ticket Holders.

It’s worth noting that this change applies exclusively to Season Ticket Holders. Those attending matches with matchday tickets or print-at-home tickets will continue to use the turnstiles as they have done previously, with no changes being implemented for these ticket types.

It is still disappointing that digital ticket options won’t be available at Parkhead this year, hopefully, this is something that can be put in place in the near future.
