CELTIC go into Wednesday’s game against Sarajevo with a comfortable two goal cushion.

The bhoys recovered from going a goal down in Bosnia to winning 3-1 on the night.

Now they are set to welcome the Bosnian champions to Celtic Park on Wednesday night with Neil Lennon being able to be a bit more relaxed about team selection. Don’t get me wrong, the Celtic boss will not treat this game like a foregone conclusion because of what’s at stake but the scoreline does allow him to give players a chance to show what they can do.

There’s one man Celtic fans are desperate to see up close this week and if he’s available for selection then the support might just get what they want.

Marian Shved didn’t travel to Bosnia last week after suffering a minor injury in training on Monday before flying out. Neil Lennon didn’t mention any long term effects from the injury and insisted it was just a precaution the new Ukranian man was left behind.

If he’s been training this week, surely Marian will be in contention for his full Celtic debut and his Celtic park bow. With so many fans watching his progress since January when we signed the player and loaned him out, big things are expected. Is it time to unleash our secret weapon?
