Celtic head across the city this Sunday to face Rangers at Ibrox in what promises to be a fiery Glasgow Derby, even with the Scottish Premiership title already wrapped up by the Hoops.

While Brendan Rodgers’ side have wrapped up the league, they’ll be hungry to end their recent derby record, having lost the last two encounters in 2025. Rangers, meanwhile, are now playing purely for pride, with no silverware left to chase. A third straight win over their rivals would offer some consolation for a disappointing campaign.
TV and Kick-Off Time
Sky Sports will broadcast the match live, with coverage beginning at 11am on Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Football. Kick-off is scheduled for 12pm.
Referee Appointment
Nick Walsh will take charge of Sunday’s derby. He’ll be assisted by Frank Connor and Dougie Potter on the lines, while Andrew Dallas will be on VAR duty.
Team News
Celtic were without several first-team players during training on Friday. Daizen Maeda, Nicolas Kuhn, Jota and Alistair Johnston were all absent, although Rodgers is expected to provide a full injury update soon. Notably, Jota remains a doubt after picking up a knee injury against Dundee United last weekend.
Both sides will want to lay down a marker. It’s set to be a feisty afternoon at Ibrox.
