After the news Jack Hendry got injured down under with his loan side Melbourne City, another Celtic loan player is now out injured! This time it’s Eboue Kouassi at Genk.

Eboue was sent out on loan by the club for the rest of the season in the hope of getting game time and maybe winning a permanent move away. However, it looks like the midfielder will spend a month on the sidelines according to SunSport.

It was feared there could’ve been a reoccurrence of the players torn ligament injury which sucked up a year of his Celtic career. However, a scan has shown Ebou can play on in a month or so. Still not the best when every game counts when you’re on a short term loan.

The unlucky midfielder can’t catch a break. We hope to see him back on the field as quick as possible. His Celtic career looks over but he can still find success in the game elsewhere.
