In recent months, Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou has been continually linked to a number of jobs in the English Premier League but Australian journalist Vince Rugari has rubbished the freshest rumour.

Tottenham boss Antonio Conte is under severe pressure after his side were knocked out the Champions League by Italian champions AC Milan.

Many expect Conte to leave Spurs at some point in the near future which has once again got the desperate rumour mill started as Postecoglou is already getting linked to the job.

Following Celtic’s Viaplay Cup final success against Rangers, the Hoops boss made sure that he controlled the narrative when it came to his future as he clearly stated that “I think you’ll be surprised how long I’m here” when speaking to the press following the match [Read more here].

He also didn’t miss former Rangers striker Ally McCoist when he asked him for a lift back to Celtic Park which was in reference to the comments he had made on Talksport about giving Ange a lift down to Leeds.

Rugari who is a well respected journalist down under believes that these links are all nonsense and doesn’t think he is going anywhere soon.

“To save me from saying the same thing to every reply. Based on recent comments I think he’s staying out for at least one more crack at Europe with Celtic,” said [@VinceRugari] speaking on his twitter page.

He’s been now linked to umpteen different English clubs but will want to make his mark at the Hoops.
