Celtic attacker Sead Haksabanovic has stated that he is hungry for more success at the Hoops and has plenty room left for more medals.
The Montenegrin international was on the scoresheet for the league leaders to complete a 3-1 victory over Hearts at Celtic Park and scored a terrific strike [Read more here].
He could possibly start Saturday’s Scottish Cup clash against the Jambos at Tynecastle but had pledged to do his best for the team to achieve more success.
Haksabanovic enjoys the pressure which is put on him to deliver at Celtic and knows the demands and expectations placed on him and his teammates.
He joined a side who had picked up the Scottish Premiership and League Cup the previous season and knew that he had to very quickly embrace Postecoglou’s mentality that spread throughout the team.
“When I came to Celtic there was a winning spirit. You know how important it is at Celtic to win. You can feel it when you come in,” Haksabanovic told CeltsAreHere.

“Do some players struggle with that? I love it. Simple as that. You want to be the best you can be so you have to have that mentality.”
It looked as though he was going to kick on after the World Cup break but an injury kept him out for a weeks meaning that his appearances have tended to come from the bench.
He was left frustrated with himself after he didn’t score in the final of the Viaplay Cup against Rangers but would now like to right a wrong as his side target another visit to Hampden.
“The League Cup Final was amazing.
“I loved every second of the game. There is space in my cupboard for more medals because I only have one!
“As a player this is what we want, we want to win games, win trophies and medals. We have one so far and now we have the chance for two more.
“But we have to take it one game at a time and work hard in training as that’s where everything starts. We must stay focused and do what the manager asks of us.”
The mentality shown by Haksabanovic is exactly what Postecoglou will want from the rest of his players as they have one big final push towards the end of the season.
