CELTIC have been given a boost going into their final stretch of games with the news long term injured star Ryan Christie is now back out on the training field.

The bhoys were at Lennoxtown today after having Monday off to recover from Sunday’s massive Derby win. Neil Lennon put the team through their paces with Ryan Christie being among the players to join in the session.

There’s no way Christie will be ready for the St Mirren game on Wednesday or the weekend’s game but if he can get a good amount of training time over the next ten days, he should be in contention for the semi-final at Hampden where Celtic take on Aberdeen.

Christie scored the only goal of the game the last time these two sides met at Hampden earlier this season in the League Cup final. The midfielder will be eager to get back into the team and hopefully torment his old loan side once more.
