BRENDAN RODGERS was all smiles at the end of the Dundee game on Saturday afternoon after a team with no recognised striker absolutely bossed the game and won comfortably.
The Irishman declared that today’s game was probably ‘the best’ performance from a Celtic team in his 2 and a half years he’s been at the club.
Celtic were absolutely outstanding and although it took 40 minutes or so to get their first goal, the result was never in doubt.
Speaking after the game the Boss spoke to CelticTV.

“That is probably the best we’ve playing in the two and a half years I’ve been here”— Tam Sellics son (@gibbogibby1) December 22, 2018
Two goals from makeshift striker and Celtic youngster Mikey Johnston and a one from Filip Benkovic gave Celtic a 3-0 win but in all honesty, it could have been double figures on another day.
Celtic had Tierney, Boyata, Brown and Gordon out of the team and it didn’t faze them a bit.
The movement, passing and link up play was simply breathtaking at times.
Everytime Rodgers gives youngsters a chance this season, they seem to up the anti.
