CELTIC Fans were told this week they would not be sold a ticket to the game if they had a UK Passport – however, many of the travelling Celtic contingent have an Irish passport and have been sold tickets for tonight’s game for the home end without any problem.

This means if you look in the crowd tonight you’re likely to see Celtic fans in among the home supporters.

Valencia have been as unwelcoming as possible. The club and city refused to set up a fan zone, they put the Celtic fans visit as a ‘high alert’ and the footage coming out of the town last night was shocking the way police were dealing with revelling supporters just looking to have a good time.

There was no neutral zone set up inside the stadium nor was the club willing to hand over any more tickets to the club for the massive demand.

We advise anyone in Valencia or heading there today to watch themselves while they’re over in the city.
