CELTIC have had to clarify the dates of the club’s first Champions League qualifier after there was some ambiguity about the away leg from our Armenian opponents.
The official site posted the dates of both ties after yesterday’s mix up; both the Tuesday and Wednesday night were being touted as the match date for Celtic’s away leg by Alashkert at different points since the draw.
The tie fixture dates are as followed:
Away Leg – Tuesday 10th July
Home Leg – Wednesday 18th July
The away leg will kick off at 5pm Celtic Park time.
Celtic will have to deal with the searing heat of Armenia when they make the 2000 mile plus trip to start their Champions League journey.
