CELTIC have a major injury worry ahead of the trip to Ibrox on Sunday.
Greg Taylor went off in the first half of their aggregate win against Alkmaar on Thursday night with a shoulder injury. The player fell awkwardly and tried to run it off twice before conceding he couldn’t continue.
As the game wore on, the Premier Sports cameras panned to the defender who was sitting in the stadium with an icepack on his shoulder.
Given the short turnaround before the game on Sunday, you have to imagine Greg is a major doubt at this point.
There are a lot of fans who think the Hoops should be looking for another left-back but Greg has played all season to this point and throwing in Montgomery on Sunday could be a risky thing to do. Bolingoli is still at the club but hasn’t kicked a ball this season.
Greg gives us a bit of stability and like it or not, he’s our number one left-back at the moment.
We’ll have to wait and see how this unfolds.
