CELTIC has today announced the club are now handling a whopping 10k applications for a season ticket as the waiting list to get a seat at Celtic Park soars.

The news comes as fans with season tickets are in the renewal phase before any lapsed tickets go out to fans on the waiting list.

The bhoys have sold out their general season tickets for the past three seasons and people have generally stuck with it. With this number being reported it would appear that despite the managerial uncertainty and player turn over about to happen, the demand is still very high.

The club would have posted this today to give current season ticket holders a nudge to renew their card, if they were thinking twice about forming out a fairly large outlay.

The season ticket renewal flow took a bit of a hit in the last ten days when Celtic’s financial partner Zebra stopped taking application from fans to pay their season tickets up.

The club has since announced a new financial partner.
