CELTIC are planning for the now but they’re also planning for the future. The club let a lot of reserve players go in the summer and they are now looking to add quality to the youth developmental side to compliment the likes of Dembele and Oko-Flex.

With that in mind, the club are looking at possibly bringing in a 15-year-old Irish player. Charlie Allen who currently plays for Linfield has been attracting interest from English giants Manchester Utd and Liverpool but Celtic are also monitoring the player’s situation according to the Belfast Telegraph.

He seems like a player very much in demand. Linfield boss David Healy rates the player so highly, Allen has been named in the squad for Linfield’s Champions League qualifier against Rosenborg. His midfielder would become one of the youngest stars to ever play in the competition if Charlie makes it onto the field

Not something for fans to get excited about but the club should always be looking for top talent at any age. Oko-Flex was brought in last year at the age of 16 from Arsenal and has made strides. It’s all about finding these players before they enter the EPL system and become footballers we can no longer afford.
