Celtic is actively hiring for a senior role within the club’s academy. The job ‘Head of Soccer Academy’ was publically posted on Thursday, with applications shutting at the end of the month.
The role involves running overseas camps, managing international coaching conventions, and identifying new business opportunities and commercial partnerships for Celtic’s academy.
Through the years, the Hoops’ academy has produced countless top talents. In recent times, the likes of Callum McGregor and Kieran Tierney have made the jump and established themselves as regulars in the first-team.
In Brendan Rodgers’ current squad, Stephen Welsh, James Forrest, Anthony Ralston, and McGregor are all players who have come through the ranks.
The club has a respectable reputation for producing quality players. The role that has recently been put up for application will involve maintaining this.
It is a full-time position, and applicants must possess a prestigious UEFA A-Licence.
