Celtic return to action at the end of this week when they welcome Highland League outfit Buckie Thistle to Parkhead on Sunday. For the visitors, it is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to play against the Scottish champions.

The Hoops will be fully expectant to advance to the next round of the Scottish Cup, but they have in no way been underestimating their opponents in the lead-up to the match.

Per The Scottish Sun, Celtic sent their opposition scout David Houston to watch Buckie in their 3-2 Highland League win over Huntly at the weekend. Houston, who has been working for the club for five years, got a good idea of their strengths and weaknesses from watching the game.

Although next to no one is giving the Highlanders a chance, it is positive to see that Celtic are not taking the match lightly. The Hoops appear to be treating Buckie with the same respect as any other opponent and preparing wisely for the clash.
