Celtic are without a first-team striker after both Ajeti and Kyogo were forced off the pitch injured in Celtic’s final Europa League matchday. Meanwhile, Giakoumakis has been having trouble with his knee and required surgery.

However, it seems that Greek striker, Gorgios Giakoumakis has returned to training after posting a photo of himself with his new football boots. He was pictured in his training gear.

This is a great boost for Ange heading into the Cup Final on Sunday. Celtic have lacked a striker for two games now. Against Motherwell, it was evident that we struggled without a focal point in attack with David Turnbull trying his best to fill the void.

Celtic fans haven’t seen too much of the player who arrived from VVV Vleno in the summer but he has shown his physical side and his capability to win fouls for his team. If he is deemed fit enough to start on Sunday, which there is no indication of, it will be interesting to see how he performs.
