Celtic youngster Tobi Oluwayemi has received a call-up to England u19s for their forthcoming training camp.

The talented goalkeeper has been a key figure in the England youth sides for the last few years now at both Celtic and Tottenham Hotspur.

Now, Oluwayemi has been given the call-up to the under 19s latest training camp which will take place between the 23rd of May and run until the 27th of May.

This is in preparation for the U19s Euros which is set to take place in 2022, with England coach Ian Foster looking to bond and work on his squad before heading to that tournament which will take place next June.

Oluwayemi and his teammates face Sweden, Switzerland and Andorra in the first qualifying round of a tournament which will begin in November.

The 18-year old is clearly highly rated within the England set-up and hopefully, that is the case at Lennoxtown too. He had his first taste of being part of the first-team set up this year back in January.

During the club’s Covid crisis, Oluwayemi wasn’t part of the squad but was involved on a matchday alongside the other two keepers and appears to have been training more with the first team, if clubs on social media are to go by.
