CELTIC will take on Sparta Prague on Thursday and hope to make up for their woeful and embarrassing result at Celtic Park before the international break.

The Scottish champions were humiliated, losing 4-1 on the night and piling the pressure on the Celtic manager, Neil Lennon.

There could be some good news for Celtic this morning with Christopher Jullien pushing to play in the Europa League match after more than two months out of the team, according to SunSport.

.

It’s no secret the defence has been Celtic’s achilles heel this season and Jullien has missed a large portion of the games. Neil Lennon has reverted to a back four which also suits the Frenchman, it’s likely if he is fit, he will get some game time.

We want Jullien to be at his best for the league and cup games, even if he gets some game time against Sparta Prague, it would help the defender get up to speed.

Shane Duffy has started the past two games from the bench, and you would like to think Jullien and Ajer will get the opportunity to reunite in defence.

Together they only conceded 19 goals last season in the SPFL; 13 goals have already been lost this season with so much upheaval.
