Majority shareholder Dermot Desmond’s private plane has landed in Glasgow on Tuesday morning as speculation over Celtic’s next manager reaches fever pitch.

Brendan Rodgers has been heavily linked with a return to the club, particularly in the last 48hours.

Fans are attempting to put two and two together and believe the former Celtic boss is on his way back to the club for a second spell with Desmond leading the welcoming party.

There hasn’t been an official word from the club as of yet, but Desmon’s attendance in Glasgow is significant.

The last time there was a snap of Desmond in Glasgow it was with Ange Postecoglou at Celtic Park. Weeks later, Ange was gone. We believe those talks were about trying to convince Ange to stay and build.

Dermot and Brendan have been exchanging calls and text for the past week.

A private jet left Mallorca on Monday afternoon and touched down in London.

Rodgers has been open to a return.

This looks like its happening unfortunately.Right from the moment Ange left he has been touted and his image is being tarted up to soften the blow to us fans that don’t want him back.Rogers is a ” good manager ” we need a special kind of manager who can take a group of player beyond what we we can expect form Rogers.The fact Broonie has been mentioned is part of operation soften up. I suppose we were spoilt with Ange’s full throttle attacking football I just hope its not back to a hundred sqare passes in our own half.
