ST MIRREN Chief Tony Fitzpatrick has told Celtic fans to enjoy their allocation this season at St Mirren Park because it may be the last time they receive such a large number of briefs.

The Buddies are back in the Premier League and season ticket sales have increased significantly – although not so big that they’re ready to cut the tickets Celtic will receive this term.

When the bhoys come to Paisley they will be given both ends of the ground behind the goals but Fitzpatrick is confident a good showing in this seasons league campaign and it will be game over.

“We generally have under 3000 season ticket holders but we’ve already sailed past that.”

“At the moment, we’re on target to sell over 4000, which is more than half the capacity of the ground.

“If we keep on improving we could end up giving Celtic and Rangers* fans just 400 tickets and put them in a corner. That’s the dream.”

Celtic will visit St Mirren Park on September 15th after the International break.
