ANGE POSTECOGLOU asked journalists to ease off on injury questions given he had just walked off the field after the 3-2 win against Real Betis in the Europa League.

Both Albian Ajeti and Kyogo [Celtic’s only two fit strikers] went off injured during the game, leaving Celtic’s immediate future without any natural forwards.

Journalists were keen to know the status of both players but Ange knew as much as the rest of us and won’t know the extent of any injuries until the players go for scans.

We’re likely to find out sooner rather than later with a press conference for the Motherwell game likey being held tomorrow at Lennoxtown ahead of the Sunday tie.

Kyogo being out for any length of time would be a massive blow to Celtic and their aspirations this season.

Many supporters questioned Ange’s wisdom at the time when he chose to sub on Kyogo when there were other options he could have chosen.

Celtic fans will be refreshing their screens for the next 24 hours hoping for good news.

  1. This Celtic team is not all about one player as demonstrated last night. We play as a unit and I am sure Ange will have a plan. As for Ajeti I don’t think he has a future at Celtic, seems lazy, slow and a shade overweight.
