The Scottish Cup final seems like an eternity ago but until today that was the last time Tom Rogic has pulled on a Celtic jersey.

The Australian has been our for four months after reporting back from the summer break with an injury.

The midfielder came on as a second half substitute against Hamilton with the team grinding out a 1-0 victory in the end.

Tom will need some time to get back up to speed but it’s great to see him back on the field after such a lengthy lay-off.

Clearly delighted, the Celtic star posted on Instagram after his return.

Celtic now head to France for Thursday’s Europa League opener against Rennes.

Tom is likely going to start that game on the bench but could come on as an impact substitute. Celtic are currently on a good run of form and face a big test against the French side.
