The revelations within the Republic of Ireland camp this morning has been a major source of concern and anxiety for the Celtic support

The ROI Football association confirmed there was a new positive test within the camp and four others had to isolate because of it – they didn’t name any names – leaving supporters in the dark if Shane Duffy was among them, meaning he would miss the Glasgow Derby.

It means Duffy will not have been among the five players but the concerning thing is he is still in the camp and among the rest of the players and he starts for Ireland today.

We will not be out of the woods yet and until the game kicks off on Saturday, there’s just no guarantee we’ll have any one single player available.

Celtic should ask for the release of Duffy.
