CELTIC goalie Joe Hart is widely recognised for his genuine appreciation for fans and his gracious engagement with fan media.

In a recent interview with the GorbalsDrinkCompany on TikTok, Hart expressed his heartfelt reaction to captain Callum McGregor’s description of him as “one of the nicest people in football.”

Hart, visibly moved by the comment, responded, “What a thing for someone like Callum to say. That means everything.” He went on to acknowledge that while he might not be at the peak of his goalkeeping prowess, he can always offer kindness, understanding, and support.

Hart emphasised the ease of human connection, saying, “It’s not an effort to engage with someone, not an effort to have an interest in someone, not an effort to stand up for someone and it’s not an effort for someone to stand up for you.”

On the field, Hart is revered as a leader and is highly esteemed by his teammates. Even though age might have slightly dimmed his on-field brilliance, his contribution to the team remains invaluable.

He’s in the last year of his Celtic contract and the club will be sounding out replacements, but one thing is for sure, they won’t be able to replace Joe Hart’s character in the dressing room.
