LEIGH GRIFFITHS is in the provisional squad today for the Kilmarnock game after missing bourbon the Copenhagen tie through injury.

However, being in the provisional squad doesn’t necessarily mean you’re going to make the final cut, so it’s not a forgone conclusion.

We’ve had no updates from Neil Lennon or the player since Thursday, and we’re flying blind when it comes to Leigh taking to the field or not.

Maybe Neil Lennon doesn’t want to show his hand and will catch Alex Dyer and Killie off guard with a 3-5-2 or a 4-3-3.

RecordSport are claiming Leigh is fit, but it’s still a bit of a mystery because while we know the club talk to the Record, there are no quotes attributing the news or even someone using the word ‘Celtic source’.

They write: ‘Celtic star Leigh Griffiths has handed Neil Lennon a huge fitness boost ahead of today’s match against Kilmarnock after being declared fit – according to a report.’

We’ll find out around 1:30pm today.

Celtic are looking to maintain their ten-point advantage which could be down to seven by the time the bhoys kick-off at Celtic Park.
