NEIL LENNON says it’s a frustrating thing when you are trying to build a team and help the club progress but he believes Fraser Forster is TOO GOOD to be able to hang on to.

The Northern Irishman spoke candidly about his goalkeeper –

“It’s going to be impossible to keep our goalkeeper Fraser Forster, the way he’s playing.

“Inevitably, I think a huge club will come in and make a huge bid for him.

“The way he’s playing at the minute and the fact that he’s knocking on the door to be England’s no 1 playing in the Scottish League, that speaks volumes for his talent.”

Fraser Forster has excelled in the past two seasons and put in some spectacular performances in against Europes elite. It is no surprise he is being linked with some very reputable clubs across Europe.

The gaffer believes however that he needs to keep his core group of players in order to be a success.

“We have a core; Brown, Ledley, Commons, Samaras, Lustig, and Ambrose has just signed a new contract. It is important to keep that core together, while one or two individuals may move on.”

Knowing the big man could be on his way out in the summer Celtic must now actively start looking for a replacement for when the inevitable bids come in. After seeing Wanyama and Hooper go without being properly replaced it would be a major blow if we weren’t prepared for the Geordies departure.

Zaluska is waiting in the wings but is he good enough for first team duties?
