Major talking points

Livingston has over a decade absence from Scotland’s top flight. Since their reemergence in 18/19, the Hoops have not been able to beat Livi at home. The last time Celtic won away at Livingston was 2006, here is the starting XI that day.

1 Artur Boruc
6 Bobo Baldé
12 Mark Wilson
44 Stephen McManus
2 Paul Telfer
18 Neil Lennon
19 Stilian Petrov
25 Shunsuke Nakamura
29 Shaun Maloney
7 Maciej Żurawski
9 Dion Dublin

Celtic won two-nil that day with goals from Zurawski and a penalty by Maloney.

Predicted XI by Lewis Laird [@LewisLaird01]

Lewis has gone for Stephen Welsh over Starfelt but we imagine Carl will keep his place. If one defender is to make way for Welsh, it’s likely Carter-Vikers who has already played two games on the bounce after playing zero football.

Juranovic going to right back and Montgomery to the left would be harsh on Ralston but gives the team better balance with players in their natural position.

Abada coming back into the team along side Cal Mac is a no brainer. Turnbull and Rogic just off a full 90 minutes in the heat of Seville, will both be up for the game?
