LIAM SHAW has made two appearances for Celtic in pre-season and a lot of supporters like what they see.

The midfielder got the second half against Charlton after starting against Sheffield in midweek. It’s safe to say the player doesn’t look like a newbie and is playing like he’s been at Celtic for some time.

He looks like a good ball winner who also can the ball moving forward when the opportunity comes his way.

Celtic signed the midfielder on a pre-contract back in January from Sheffield Wednesday and he’s come in this summer during a pre-season of upheaval.

The rebuild could work to his advantage and Shaw could find himself in the first team starting XI before too long if he keeps up his performance level.

These fans agree.

Celtic won 2-1 against Charlton in the end, scoring the two goals in the first half. The second half team did look disjointed but Shaw was a stand out for sure.

Celtic have one more game in Wales before heading back to Glasgow next week.

A game against Preston awaits before the club have their Champions League qualifier at Celtic Park.

Everyone is vying for a place in the Champions League starting XI, things should get even more interesting against Bristol City on Wednesday night.
