Celtic have a golden opportunity to climb to the top of the league standings with a victory over Hearts on Sunday afternoon, especially following Rangers’ surprising defeat at home to Motherwell on Saturday.

Since the draw against Kilmarnock in February, the Bhoys have been playing catch-up, but now they stand on the brink of reestablishing their dominance.

However, the challenge ahead is formidable; facing Hearts at Tynecastle is among the season’s toughest fixtures and will undoubtedly test Celtic’s resolve. Should they emerge victorious, it will be a testament to their quality and determination. Here’s how the Bhoys will line up.

Callum McGregor is out after sustaining multiple injuries against Dundee on Wednesday night. CeltsAreHere were made aware Callum was in a protective boot on Friday and had little to no chance of being fit for this one.

Bernardo comes into the team and Tomoki continues as the holding midfielder. It’s Idah starting again after another goal midweek. Kyogo has to make do with a place on the bench.

There is a bench appearance for Gustaf Lagerbielke this afternoon. Despite having his loan move to Serie A pulled in January, the defender has been nowhere to be seen until now.

  1. Think largerman has been drafted in as we remain short in the midfield areas today regarding subs?
Iwata only returning from injury, so could the largerman be seen as a possible replacement in the position if the case should arise?
Again no OH involved within the squad so question marks are going to start about his future with the club also?
