Celtic striker Odsonne Edouard has officially completed his move to English Premier League side Crystal Palace on a five-year deal.

The Frenchman joins up with Patrick Viera’s new-look squad after his four-year stay with the Hoops came to an end this evening.

Speculation has grown all summer surrounding the 24-year olds future at the club as he approached the final 12 months of his contract in Glasgow.

Several English Premier League sides, including Leicester and Brighton, were mentioned as being interested in bringing Edouard to the club.

However, it is Palace who has completed a deal which is expected to be in the region of £15 million.

Since joining from PSG in 2017, Edouard has had an incredible few years with the club, creating many memories for fans.

From scoring doubles in the 2018/19 cup final to his winners in Glasgow Derby fixtures. The club certainly got their worth in the £9 million deal, which remains our highest fee paid for the player.

I am sure many fans will continue to follow the progress of the Frenchman as his career goes on. We wish him all the best for the future.
