NEIL LENNON told Celtic fans yesterday that there are currently THREE Celtic players in contract negotiations with the club over their future.
Mikael Lustig, Nir Bitton and Scott Sinclair.
However, there was one very obvious omission from that list that everyone seems to be ignoring or forgetting as the clock runs down towards the end of the season.
Dedryck Boyata was not among the players mentioned in talks with the club, which confirms without confirming that there’s no coming back for the defender after this season.
Boyata, his agent and Brendan Rodgers appeared to have a break down in communication when the defender wanted to leave last summer. However, Dedryck did put his head down and get on with it after not getting the move he wanted.
There may have been hope among some fans a change in management would see the defender change his mind but it looks increasingly likely we are watching the end of his Celtic career in the next ten or so games.
