CELTIC FANS have been left very disappointed after finding out they don’t have Cup final tickets even though they ticked all the right boxes at the start of the season.

With so many people subscribing to the home cup ticket scheme in recent years it’s now not a given you’re going to get a cup final ticket if the bhoys get there.

The original semi-final ticket allocation went to a ballot and the final tickets have gone the same way with everyone on the HCTS who have attended all games at Celtic Park and the semi-final at Hampden entered into the ballot.

Celtic fans were told this morning the ballot had been made and they could log on to see if they were lucky enough to bag a ticket for the final but it appears there is a lot of disappointed fans. It has become a bit of an issue with kids winning tickets in the ballot but the adult they go with not getting a ticket.

There doesn’t seem to be an easy way to do this or a universally accepted way of distributing tickets. Celtic are between a rock and a hard place and some of the comments on social media have been a bit over the top but you can understand fans frustrations.

@RoisinD94: “Absolute joke. Been to every game, never had a problem getting a ticket for the final and no tickets for any of us this year. Yet Hearts fans will be fine despite not showing up to most of their games.”

@ShaunMullaney: “Funny how yer green brigade mob always get the tickets for the same section! “ random ballot”. Total and utter shambles”.

@DaleySteven: “Season ticket holder for 20 yrs, been on the HCT scheme since it started, paid 4 all cup games in all comps in that time, gave @CelticFC thousands over the yrs and they tell me Im not eligible for a cup final ticket?? Why? Raging doesn’t quite cover it”.

Celtic take on Hearts on May 25th with a potential treble treble up for grabs.
