ANGE POSTECOGLOU sounded a bit disappointed while reacting to Celtic’s post-split fixtures after the SPFL announced the final five games of the season.

The bhoys are just one win away from the title, however, their first two games after the split are both away fixtures. Something that hasn’t gone down well with the support, and now, the manager.

Ange revealed he really wanted one of the first two games of the split to be at home considering the bhoys can win the league and then celebrate with the support.

11th March 2023; Tynecastle Park, Edinburgh, Scotland: Scottish Cup Football, Hearts versus Celtic; Celtic Manager Angelos Postecoglou arrives for the match

As it stands, Celtic will only be allowed 1,400 inside Tynecastle for the game that could see Celtic get over the line. After that, if they do manage to win, they have a game at Ibrox where no fans will be in to celebrate or make noise. The Hoops will have to wait until the third fixture to show their appreciation for the bhoys inside Celtic Park.

Considering this was well within the SPFL’s capabilities to give Celtic a home tie earlier in the split, it becomes all the more frustrating.

Celtic have a Scottish Cup semi-final this weekend and whatever happens, after that, it’s down to business in the SPFL.

Celtic fans will be in fine voice at Tynecastle, the ones who are lucky enough to get a ticket and it will be the St Mirren game before 60k Celtic fans get together to celebrate.
