REO HATATE was part of the Celtic side who won the league at Tynecastle at the weekend and like the rest of the players, soaked in the adulation of the small away support in the capital after the game.

However, when the bhoys got back to Celtic Park, after the dust had settled on the celebrations, eagle-eyed Celtic fans noticed Reo had not made it back to Celtic Park.

The conspiracy theorists were all at it as soon as Reo wasn’t there for the pictures outside the stadium with supporters or inside the ground with just the team.

The Japanese midfielder moved to quell into any speculation and made it clear he had personal things which meant he couldn’t be with the team for the Celtic Park celebrations.

“It’s not a big deal.” Reo told SunSport. “People are reading too much into it.

“I had my personal things so I had to be away from the team. But that’s all, nothing else.”

That should satisfy most of the Celtic support.

As we move towards the end of the season, more fans are going to be on edge when it comes to their best players maybe moving on.

Reo has had a great season and while he could be in demand this summer, missing the title celebrations was no indication of anything happening.
