Celtic are reportedly keeping their eye on Peterborough winger Siriki Dembele, the brother of current youngster Karamoko Dembele.
According to Team Talk, the Scottish Champions are ready to make a move for the young winger who has been at youth sets ups such as Dundee United and Ayr United, previously in Scotland.
By all accounts, the 24-year old has started to come on to a game with the League One side and this move could also possibly persuade young star, Karamoko to commit his future to the club with his contract running out this coming summer.
We have had a recent history with Peterborough going back to the summer transfer window, in the pursuit for Ivan Toney. It is clear there is frictionbetween between both boards but if these reports are true hopefully we can make something happen.
The advantage we also have is first-team coach, Gavin Strachan who joined from Peterborough in the summer, so will still have contacts at the club to find out more.
It would be a strange move to make but could be one that pays off with both Dembele’s looking like impressive talents. We will bring you more if there are any more developments in this rumour.
