CHRIS SUTTON has agreed with a twitter follower who admitted it would be disappointing to see Kieran Tierney leave so quickly after making such a strong pledge to the Celtic support.

Some fans are in a bit of a panic over the speculation Everton are about to make a sensational £25million bid for the Celtic superstar.

Other fans are just not buying Kieran wants to leave before Celtic have ten in a row firmly sealed up.

Sutton fielded a few questions about the left backs future this morning and joked when the Andy Robertson comparison was made.

  1. You’ve just got to remember that all this what “Trump” would “Fake News” how much our rivals would desire this to happen, I don’t think it will.

  2. KT will probably want to be here for 10 in a row, after that then it’s a 100% guarantee that he will leave, it doesn’t matter how much you love a club your family will always or should always come first and if he can give them more of a financial stability by making more money elsewhere then good luck to him, if anyone was offered £100,000 a week compared to maybe £20,000 then obviously they would take it.

  3. BR,you may be right with your family/money analysis, but not all players are solely motivated by money.many players like our own Paul McStay in the 8o’s, and Steve Bull of Wolves in the early nineties turning down big money moves to stay with clubs close to their hearts. Keiren will be 10.I.A.R driven and MAYBE after that is achieved will think about moving on and securing financial security for himself and any family(none to speak of yet).
One thing that worries me is if club comes in with a huge bid,is would he be nudged out the door by the money men?
