CHRIS SUTTON was at Celtic Park on Sunday to take in the Scottish Cup tie between his former side and St Johnstone. Not under the usual BT Sports banner, but Premier Sports with most of the BT crew hired for the TV channel’s Scottish Cup games.

Sutton was there for pre and post-match discussions and as always gave his honest opinions on what he saw. However, he couldn’t wait until half time to make his feelings known about the special moment when Scott Brown’s 35-yard shot landed in the top corner of the goals.

The whole of Celtic Park were on their feet, some celebrating, some bemused and some just in shock because they didn’t expect to see something like that at all from the Celtic captain.

Chris Sutton put it best when he described the goal in just one word…..’BELTER’.

We would have to agree with Chris on this one.

Celtic ran a mock and put five past St Johnstone without reply making it 19 goals and 0 conceded since the turn of the year. What a start to 2019.
