Celtic maintained their 100% start to the SPFL season by defeating Hearts at Celtic Park on Sunday.
Goals from Kyogo and Giakoumakis did the damage against an away side who failed to register one shot on goal the entire day. Despite that, Robbie Neilson was adamant his team were hard done by.
Hearts saw two late red cards, both deserving of second yellows and therefore a red, but the Hearts manager made it clear they suffered because the referee applied the rules of football to his team.
It wasn’t a vintage performance by Celtic by any stretch of the imagination, however, they never looked like losing the game despite the second goal coming very late on.
Here are Sunday’s highlights:
We’re coming to the end of August which means the luxury of a week between games is about to come to a screeching halt. The League Cup and Champions League come into play shortly.
Ange will be using his entire squad and rotating much more than he has for the past four weeks.
