CELTIC MANAGER Ange pOstecoglou was a special guest at night with Scott Brown and Mikael Lustig at the SSE Hydro on Thursday evening.

The Australian was in great form as he showed up to pay tribute to Broony and Mikael, two players who had left the club before he became the Celtic manager.

Ange has immersed himself in the club since joining the Hoops and shows immense respect to our history, of which he is now a firm part.

When he made it onto the stage, the cheer was enormous and then Celtic fans began to sing the famous ‘top of the league’ chant at the Celtic manager; it went on for longer than the guys on stage expected, and Ange ended up taking a seat while the supporters continued to chant.

It was a great night, and it was also great to see Ange, Broony, and Mikael Lustig interact. During the show, Ange and Gordon Strachan also chatted on stage with the Hoops manager, referring to Gordon as ‘Gavin’s dad’.

Seeing Scott Brown on stage before the Celtic support brought back many great memories. The times we had under the former Celtic captain are unlikely to be matched.

  1. What a night it was last night Ange got an amazing reception for an amazing human being, he got a bigger reception than Broony and Mika. Liam McGrandles was excellent and that young boy Adam that came on at half-time was good but brief two songs and he was off. It was great to see Jozo Simunovic back as well as CalMac and Greg Taylor bringing out the Premership trophy and Scott Bain the League Cup. Charlie Mulgrew’s story about Broony boxing the kangaroo and in the tunnel at the next game laser focused as if nothing happened was funny as well. It was the send off that Broony and Mika deserved and Walk On at the end was really emotional it was one of the best nights I’ve had outside of Celtic Park for a long time, I can’t say any more than that it was just brilliant.
