Celtic have this afternoon announced yet another fixture change, for the up and coming game against St Mirren next month.

The fixture between the two sides was set to take place on Sunday the 24th of January but has been to Wednesday the 10th of February.

This change is due to St Mirren’s involvement in the League Cup semi-final when they take on Livingston at Hampden that same weekend.

With Celtic already far behind when it comes to games in hand, having played three less than the majority of the League, this announcement probably isn’t ideal for Neil Lennon and his squad.

Although, we have had one of those games in hand organised for the 20th of January, away to Livingston. We will then fall straight behind again a few days later.

We have a lot of catching up to do with not only fixtures but also points so the next few months are absolutely crucial in getting our season back on track.
