Former Celtic defender Erik Sviatchenko made new friends on Saturday night in Poland after walking into a random bar and finding three Celtic fans.
The Danish defender who was sold permanently back to FC Midjytland last summer has always kept in touch with all things Celtic since leaving. Recently, the Dane was seen hanging about with former Celtic player Stuart Armstrong.
Celtic fan J Maguire couldn’t believe it when the former Celtic star walked through the door in Poland and Erik seemed happy to pose and chat with the lads.
After the meeting, the fans thanked Erik on social media and the response from The Defender was brilliant.

Brought in by Ronny Deila, Erik played a big part in the invincible season under Brendan Rodgers before the player dropped down the pecking order shortly after that season.
He’s always welcome at Celtic Park!
