Iero was in the city with My Chemical Romance, who were playing at Bellahouston Park last night as part of one of Glasgow’s biggest shows of the summer.

For Celtic supporters who are also fans of the band, it was a nice crossover to see. Football clubs often welcome well-known names when they are in town, and Celtic Park remains one of the most recognisable sporting stops in the city.

The American musician is best known as the rhythm guitarist in My Chemical Romance, a band that became one of the biggest names in alternative rock. Albums such as Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge and The Black Parade helped them build a huge following across the world, including plenty here in Scotland.

Celtic have welcomed plenty of famous visitors over the years, and Iero is the latest name to make the trip to Paradise.
