Celtic host Rangers* this weekend in what is arguably the biggest league game so far this season for Ange Postecoglou and his players.

The Bhoys currently sit nine points clear at the top of the Scottish Premiership however a win against their city rivals would push them 12 ahead with seven games left to play.

If this ends up being the case, it is extremely tough to see a Rangers recovery therefore a Celtic victory would essentially wrap up the title.

This campaign so far, there have been three previous meetings of the Glasgow sides across all competitions.

Celtic put on a show at Parkhead back in September as goals from Liel Abada, Jota and David Turnbull ensured a thorough 4-0 trouncing before an entertaining 2-2 at Ibrox at New Year in which a late Kyogo equaliser salvaged the Hoops a point.

The Japanese striker was then central in the Viaplay cup final in February, bagging a brace in a 2-1 win as the Bhoys got their hands on the first silverware of the season.

This weekend, Celtic fans will be satisfied with a repeat of either of their derby triumphs in 2022/23 so far. Here is everything you need to know going into the game.
