Neil Lennon has branded the ‘shoot the board’ banner as dangerous rhetoric after it appeared outside Celtic Park overnight.
The banner which was a call back to the old banner outside Celtic Park during the struggle for power in the 90s was ill-advised by the fans who did it.
The Celtic manager responded to the banner, saying the language is dangerous.
want the same thing. We don't want any divisions. I understand the frustrations and the players are feeling that as well. But we don't like that kind of language or expression anywhere near the football stadium. It serves no purpose really.”

Neil Lennon is clinging onto his job after a disastrous first half of the season. The bhoys have done nothing to make us think they’re going to turn a corner and go on a winning run.
The manger revealed optimistic but the fans can see the writing on the wall.
The banner crossed a line for sure, the sack the board banners are perfectly acceptable as fans look to show their frustrations during a time where we can’t be inside the stadium.
There could be a major backlash to the board’s current actions in the summer when they’re looking for the support to cough up money for season tickets.
