Celtic stormed to a dominant 7-1 victory over Dundee on Wednesday evening. It was the Hoops’ best performance of the season to date.

Brendan Rodgers’ men were on it from the very start. Cameron Carter-Vickers opened the scoring early doors before Adam Idah, Matt O’Riley, Daizen Maeda, Greg Taylor, Callum McGregor, and Daniel Kelly all got in on the act.

Things somewhat dropped off in the second half but that is understandable given the alterations that were made.

The game turned into a training exercise in the latter stages, but the players received a raucous applause at full-time. Ultras group Bhoys were prominent, revealing a banner as the squad completed a lap of honour.

Copying the words of the manager, their banner read ‘Write our own story, fight it out until the end’:

Bhoys Banner
Getting right behind the team, the Bhoys, and all of the supporters, know that when the support unite, they can give the team an extra yard on the pitch. The atmosphere was of top quality this evening, and the harmonic relationship between the players and fans was coherent throughout proceedings.
