Celtic Colts secured their place in the Glasgow Cup final with a romping 3-0 win over Rangers B in Dumbarton this afternoon.

An early goal from Armstrong Oko-Flex after six minutes started Celtic off on the front foot and a second-half double from Cameron Harper secured the three points for the boys in Green and White.

Many Celtic fans will also be delighted to see that first-team winger Mikey Johnston returned to the pitch for the first time since his injury back in January, playing 45 minutes.

The side was brimming with young talents such as Harper, Luca Connell, Stephen Welsh and Karamoko Dembele.

Dembele has had much speculation around his future at the club, not featuring in recent reserve games or even first-team training. But he returned to the Celtic Colts side today and played 90 minutes.

The final of the Glasgow Cup is set to take place at some point in January with the young hoops still to find out their opponents for the showpiece.

At this stage, they will be facing Partick Thistle who sit in second but that position is still up for grabs with both Rangers and Clyde in with a chance having played two fewer games than the Jags.
