Signifying further developments, Palma was conspicuously absent from Aris Thessaloniki’s training session on Thursday, with his agent reportedly engaged in transfer negotiations.

Greek journalist Giannis Chorianopoulos added fuel to the fire on Friday morning, stating that Palma will not feature in Aris Thessaloniki’s weekend game against Lamia. He further highlighted that Palma has set his sights on a Celtic move, even though there are offers from two non-European clubs.

Brendan Rodgers appears eager to bolster his squad, and Palma’s acquisition would undoubtedly add depth to the team.

Based on Rodgers’ pre-season team, Maeda has been utilized centrally, underlining his prowess as a forward for his national side. If Palma joins the Hoops, it’s likely he’ll claim the left-wing position, allowing Maeda to vie for the central role alongside Kyogo and potentially Oh, once he recovers from injury.
