The Swiss team is set to lose their top scorer and is reportedly deciding on whether or not they will attempt to bring Ajeti back to the club. No transfer fee has been stated, however, it is obvious Celtic will make a loss on the £4.5 million they spent on the forward.

In pre-season, Postecoglou looked set to put his trust in Ajeti, who was even given the captain’s armband. But additions in the forward department have pushed the striker further down the pecking order.

When called upon this season, Albian has failed to deliver with just three goals so far this season. For the first half of the season, Ajeti was supposed to play a big part in the squad especially with Kyogo and Giakoumakis sidelined with injury. Ultimately, he has not been the player fans had hoped him to be.
