TIMOTHY WEAH joined his first training session this morning as he linked up with his new teammates in Dubai.

It was late last night when Celtic announced the 6-month loan deal for the American striker, and he’s got straight to work with Brendan Rodgers and the rest of the side.

Being on loan until the end of the season, the frontman will need to hit the ground running in Dubai to show precisely what he’s got ahead of Celtic’s hectic second half of the season.

Weah offers welcome relief for Odsonne Edouard who had to play injured in December because he was Celtic’s only recognised striker.

Weah will look to make his mark in the coming months as the club fights on three fronts.

The bhoys have been training in Dubai since Sunday and Brendan Rodgers has made it clear it’s no picnic for his Celtic side as he pushes them to the limits in training.
