Celtic have finally made a decision on the Glasgow derby tickets for Ibrox after weeks of speculation.

The club made it clear last month they would be taking their time to assess their next move when it comes to the Ibrox club and ticketing.

The briefs landed in the Celtic Park ticket office earlier in the week but there was no immediacy to get the tickets out despite having them in their possession.

The club have been given 700 tickets for the tie and they’re now on sale to those who are eligible.

The ticketing situation surrounding the Glasgow derby has been an utter farce. Many fans wanted to see Celtic shun any sort of allocation that isn’t what Celtic used to get in the Broomloan.

The Rangers cut over 7k Celtic fans from travelling to the game out of spite and still haven’t attempted to bring it back.

Celtic will now reciprocate for the final derby of the season.
